Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Hungary Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on Android in Hungary demonstrated varied performance trends. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insight into these apps' downloads and active user metrics.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 4.9K at the beginning of April and peaking at approximately 6.9K by early June. Meanwhile, weekly active users reached their highest point at nearly 565K in late April before experiencing some fluctuations, closing the quarter at around 552K.

Google Earth maintained steady download numbers, with a slight increase towards the end of June, peaking at 1.8K. Active users showed a positive trend, rising from approximately 18.5K in early April to around 20K by the end of June.

Cyclers: Bike Navigation & Map experienced a significant jump in weekly downloads mid-April, reaching a peak of 2.3K by the end of the month. Revenue saw a steady increase, peaking at $297 in early May. Weekly active users also rose sharply, peaking at over 2.8K in late April.

Satellite View - Maps - Radar had a dramatic rise in downloads at the end of April, hitting a high of 2.8K, while revenue gradually increased, peaking at $135 in mid-June. Active users mirrored the download trend, peaking at 3.2K in early May.

Lastly, GPS Speedometer: Speed Tracker showed stable download numbers throughout the quarter, with a peak of 1K in late March. Revenue remained modest, with a notable increase in the last week of June, reaching $94. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter with around 1.6K.
